Professor Jorge Berger is a member of the Department of Physics and Optical Engineering at the Ort Braude College. He was the head of the department during the academic years 2007-2010. In agreement with the Institute of Theoretical Physics, he makes use of computer facilities at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He has co-edited a book entitled "Connectivity and Superconductivity" (Springer). He is also an editor of volume 468/4 of Physica C, devoted to fluctuations and phase transitions in superconductors. He is a member of Kibbutz Evron. He classifies himself as an optimist.
